This hotel stole my heart! Fantastic location on the beach, just a stroll from local bars and restaurants. My room was spacious and pristine, featuring a comfy bed and great shower. The rooftop pool is a gem, offering breathtaking sunset views, and the friendly staff truly made my stay memorable.

Casa Astral felt like home right from the start. The staff members, especially Angel and Lorena, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They always greeted me with a smile and were ready to help with anything I needed. My room had individual air conditioning controls, which was a perfect touch for comfort. Breakfast was a delight. fresh fruit, yogurt, and amazing coffee started my day off right. Gabino, my server, stood out for his attentiveness and fun personality. The rooftop pool offered stunning views, especially at sunset. The only downside was the frequent mosquito presence, common on the island. However, the hotel did provide bug spray and worked hard to maintain their outdoor spaces. I wished for a mini-fridge in my room to store snacks and drinks. Despite that, I loved my stay and truly appreciated the atmosphere at Casa Astral.

It was just a perfect match for an overnight stopping in Isla Holbox with incredible value for money. The staff, especially a young man at the front desk, was very skilled and helpful. Make sure to save offline maps because the area can get muddy and tricky to navigate.

A cozy home in paradise!

We spent 9 nights in a 2-bedroom apartment and it was awesome! The staff was super friendly—Angel and Lorena felt like old friends! Breakfast was yummy, especially the fresh fruit and coffee. Just wish the place wasn’t so close to that busy road. the noise from the carts was a bit much. Still, loved our stay!

Amazing rooftop pool with stunning views

Our stay was exceptional, with a spacious Junior Suite and a breathtaking rooftop pool that made sunset evenings magical. The comfy living area and two balconies added to our enjoyment. Victor at reception was incredibly helpful, offering great tips for dining and activities. Although we loved our time there, the dining options could use a bit more variety, especially for light snacks.

Plus, props to Victor at reception for his top-notch recommendations for dining and excursions!

The dining scene could use some love—wish there were light snacks or complimentary drinks. Also, the location is a bit of a trek for late-night outings, especially with muddy streets and inadequate lighting.

Friendly and helpful staff!

The spacious Junior Suite provided a modern and stylish retreat, complete with two lovely balconies perfect for enjoying sunset views. Most of the staff, especially a front desk attendant, were friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had reliable transportation for our early ferry. However, the limited restaurant hours and lack of available beverages at the pool detracted from the overall experience, making it feel a bit empty. Despite the challenges, the room and amenities had great potential.
